Personal data processing notice
This notice describes how personal data is processed through cimminomichele.it, particularly when enquiries are submitted through the contact form.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Michele Cimmino. For privacy requests or to exercise your rights, email michelecimminowork@gmail.com.
2. Data processed
The contact form may collect your full name, email address, optional phone number, enquiry topic and message. Technical data required for operation and security may also be processed, including IP address, request date and time, browser and device information.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Form data is used only to receive, manage and answer your enquiry and for directly related communications. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. This form is not used for newsletters or automated promotional communications.
4. Providing data
Fields marked as required are necessary to handle your enquiry. Your phone number is optional. Without the required data, the form cannot be submitted.
5. Hosting and contact form
The website is hosted by Netlify and uses Netlify Forms. Netlify may process technical data and form contents to provide the service, maintain security and prevent abuse, under its terms and data-processing arrangements.
6. International transfers
International technology providers, including Netlify, may process or transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers rely on GDPR mechanisms adopted by the provider, including adequacy decisions, the Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to a professional relationship are retained only as needed to handle the request and normally no longer than 12 months, unless further retention is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. If a contractual or professional relationship begins, data may be kept for its duration and for applicable tax, administrative and legal retention periods.
8. Recipients
Data may be processed by the controller and by technical providers appointed as processors under Article 28 GDPR where applicable, including Netlify. Data is not sold or disclosed for third-party marketing, except where required by law or a lawful authority request.
9. Cookies and tracking
In its current configuration, the website does not use profiling tools, advertising pixels or third-party analytics requiring prior consent. Strictly necessary technical mechanisms may be used without profiling.
10. Automated decisions and profiling
Website data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
11. Your rights
Where provided by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email michelecimminowork@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your competent supervisory authority if you believe your data is processed unlawfully.
